On Wednesday 2 May 2012 we held a FREE informative presentation in conjunction with Compass Financial Solutions, on how you can buy property within superannuation through a Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF).
We discussed the advantages of holding property in your super fund, starting from the beginning, and we also outlined how this method of asset acquisition into your superannuation can provide:
- A sufficient capital base to fund a secure retirement;
- An asset that when sold can pay no or minimal Capital Gains Tax;
- An asset which you have purchased and have control over; and
- Control over your super and retirement.
