Our Audit Services

Real Estate Trust Account Audits
It is extremely important for any real estate agent operating a trust account to appoint an auditor at the outset of opening a trust bank account. By doing so enables you to avoid missing deadlines which can involve penalties, convictions, or even worse; loss of license!
Agents must set up and maintain their trust account(s) records in accordance with:
These laws are made to ensure that trust money held by agents is properly accounted for and handled correctly.
Auditors Sunshine Coast are required to perform two unannounced audit visits per year. This is followed by a final audit and preparation of a prescribed annual audit report which is to be filed with relevant authority within four months after the reporting date.
The friendly, approachable team at Wardle Partners have been performing sales and rental trust account audits for the Real Estate industry for many years and are committed to removing the stress and headache by assisting you to be fully prepared.

Not for Profit Incorporated Associations
Audit requirements for Incorporated Associations in Queensland vary dependent upon the size of the entity. Wardle Partners audit services Sunshine Coast can determine whether your association requires to be audited and if so, will help you every step of the way so that you meet your audit requirements under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981.
Our team educates and assists an extensive range of Incorporated Associations across Queensland including community groups and not-for-profit bodies.
We understand such organisations have different needs to other entities/businesses in terms of their objectives, committees and the financial environment in which they operate. Our Sunshine Coast audit team can provide the information you need to ensure the organisations financial systems are solid and we can also help with the implementation of appropriate accounting systems if required.
We will make you aware of any improvements, procedures and internal controls we identify throughout the audit process and ensure the audit report is furnished in time for the Annual General Meeting.

Management Rights Audits
For owners of Management Rights, remaining compliant with governing standards is important to your business and licensing requirements, regardless of whether you are a seasoned operator or new to the industry.
Similar to Real Estate Agents, Management Rights owners are also required to set up and maintain their trust account audit(s) in accordance with:
- Agents Financial Administration Act 2014; and
- Agents Financial Administration Regulation 2014
Auditors are also required to perform two unannounced audit visits per year. This is followed by a final audit and preparation of a prescribed annual audit report which is to be filed with the relevant authority within four months after the reporting date.
There are many rules regarding these audits. It helps to have a trusted Management Rights auditor on hand to help you through these complexities.
The Sunshine Coast is a popular tourist destination with many Management Rights businesses, making Wardle Partners well positioned to have the necessary experience to take care of your trust account audit obligations.

- Tuckshop
If so, let us help you understand your requirements and responsibilities. Our P&C audit specialists can look after your school’s P&C annual audit needs.

Large Proprietary Companies, Public Companies and ACNC Charity Audits
Large proprietary companies must prepare and lodge a financial report and a director’s report for each financial year. The accounts must be audited unless the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC) grants relief.
A proprietary company is defined as ‘large’ for a financial year if it satisfies at least two of the below criteria:
- The consolidated revenue for the financial year of the company and any entities it controls is $50 million or more
- The value of the consolidated gross assets at the end of the financial year of the company and any entities it controls is $25 million or more, and
- The company and any entities it controls have 100 or more employees at the end of the financial year
Public companies have extensive reporting and auditing obligations each year. Medium charities (with annual revenue of more than $250,000 but less than $1 million) are required to submit financial reports that have been either reviewed or audited, while larger charities (with annual revenue over $1 million) must submit audited financial reports.
The three entities listed in this category require the auditor to be a registered company auditor. Wardle Partners are not registered company auditors and are therefore unable to perform them.
