Meet Martin Mace

Martin Mace, a warm and approachable individual, has established himself as a hardworking, and dedicated accountant who achieves goals. With a career spanning over a decade, Martin has honed his skills and expertise in the field of accounting, making him an outstanding Senior Taxation and Business Accountant. 

Commencing his professional career as a bookkeeper before advancing to becoming an accountant, Martin continues to enrich his knowledge and skills. Martin’s professional journey is underscored by his unwavering commitment to learning and excellence. Possessing a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the University of the Sunshine Coast, he holds accreditation as a Registered Tax Agent by the Tax Practitioners Board and proudly upholds membership in the Institute of Public Accountants (MIPA). His expertise extends to cloud accounting platforms having obtained Xero Certifications.  

Beyond the world of accounting and tax, Martin has a passion for fitness, spending his spare time in the gym, focusing on free weights and calisthenics, and also hiking up mountains on the Sunshine Coast. During weekends, you will find Martin balancing his time with his wife and his staffy, learning new skills and enjoying life. On his ideal day off, you’re likely to find Martin engaged in activities that nourish his love for physical well-being and self-improvement. While his professional life is dedicated to numbers and financial strategies, his personal life reflects a dedication to maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. 

Having proudly called the Sunshine Coast home for 23 years, Martin’s favourite holiday destination is the vibrant and warm city of Darwin. When it comes to food, a perfectly cooked steak is his ultimate indulgence.

Adding to his unique background, Martin has previously obtained a Private Pilot’s License and flew a Cessna 172. Prior to his professional journey, Martin started out in the rural sector, and also as a qualified butcher. These experiences highlight Martin’s love for learning new skills and gaining new knowledge as well as following his dreams. Embodying a diverse set of skills, interests, and unwavering dedication, helps to make Martin a valuable part of the Wardle Partners Accountants & Advisors team.
